By adding sensors and a camera to track the position of both your head and body, Oculus Rift have improved the simulated movement. This technical achievement opens up for a wider possibility to implement the virtual reality not only in the gaming industry but also in medical environments, opening for improvments in advanced tele medicine.
The Crystal Cove prototype has upgraded from the earlier 720p video display to full 1080p video for each eye. This improvement means a lot for the virtual experience. The higher resolution gives a sharper picture and makes it look more real and natural. Crystal Cove refresh only when the motion sensors are polled. This means that the motion is refreshed only when it can sync with motion data giving the effect that the blur is almost completely eliminated.
