Mathematicians at the University of New York, Stephen Childress and Leif Ristropf, have constructed an aerial vehicle that uses the same movements as the jellyfish.

In their scientific experiments, after testing 10 different prototypes, they saw that the small hollow paper cones and pyramids were the best at lifting and bear up, even when the wind direction changes. It was later in the scientific process they realized that the movements and the appearance of the vehicle looked and moved like a jellyfish.

The studies showed a very interesting fact; the movements neither resembled those of insects or birds, so-called orhithoprar. Instead the movements was similar to the jellyfish.

Don´t be surprised if you look up and see a flying jellyfish in the future. Watch the video and see how beautiful it is!
